New publications: lightsheet image reconstruction
New publications on multiview reconstruction of lightsheet microscopy images.
We contributed to two new publications dealing with the reconstruction of lightsheet microscopy data. The first paper by Christopher Schmied describes an ImageJ macro based pipeline for the registration and deconvolution of massive lightsheet datasets using our Multiview Reconstruction software on a computing cluster:
Christopher Schmied, Peter Steinbach, Tobias Pietzsch, Stephan Preibisch, Pavel Tomancak (2016)
An automated workflow for parallel processing of large multiview SPIM recordings
Bioinformatics 32(7), 1112-1114; Link to Paper
The second paper by Jaroslav Icha is a JoVE video tutorial publication that describes the use of our Multiview Reconstruction software for the bead-based alignment of multiview lightsheet data of the Zebrafish eye:
Jaroslav Icha, Christopher Schmied, Jaydeep Sidhaye, Pavel Tomancak, Stephan Preibisch, Caren Norden (2016)
Using Light Sheet Fluorescence Microscopy to Image Zebrafish Eye Development
Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE) 110:e53966; Link to Paper
The results of the multiview reconstruction speak for themselves:
